The Warrior Alpha DX line is Warrior’s new line for the 2019/20 season. It offers a dynamic strike fit which is designed to be low-profile and offer a superior fit and mobility compared to previous lines.
The Alpha DX youth elbow pads are designed specifically for young players. A two-piece design and easy to fasten straps make the pads easy to take on and off and provide ample protection.
Construction
The DX youth elbow pads use a two-piece construction to provide protection in all the areas that young player require. This design also provides a larger base to ensure that the pad always protects even if it shifts as they play.
Bicep & Forearm Protection
Warrior uses mid-density foams to protect the arm on the DX elbow pads. These foams are built into pre-shaped guards to absorb, and disperse impacts
Elbow Cap
The elbow cap on the DX youth is made up of a rigid plastic with a foam covering. The covering helps soften impacts before they hit the plastic cap
Liner
A yellow mesh fabric liner on the DX youth elbow pads keeps the player cool and dry while on the ice.
Strapping
The Alpha DX youth use three elastic straps to fasten around the leg. A thick strap secures the protection against the bicep while thinner straps lock in the forearm protection and wrap around the elbow to hold the pad tight.
Sizes
The DX youth shin pads are available in two sizes: Small/Medium and Large/X-Large.
